About Me
Engineering has always stood out to me as a fascinating and dynamic field, offering numerous opportunities and challenges that align with my personal and professional goals. My ultimate objective is to work in the aerospace field as an engineer. Space exploration and new technologies have always fascinated me. My passion for this career path has only grown stronger over time, and I am committed to pursuing it. To achieve my goals, I plan to obtain as much real-world experience as possible. I aim to gain practical experience in various areas of engineering, including 3D design, game development, robotics, and software engineering. I intend to continue expanding my knowledge and skillset by pursuing further education and participating in relevant extracurricular activities to achieve my goal. I am curious, creative, love problem solving, ambitious, and constantly amazed by new technological discoveries.
Over the years, I have also learned various programming languages such as C++ and Python. I have also taken courses that fit into my career goal such as Principles of Engineering and AP Computer Science Principles. Additionally, I am perceptive and observant, always seeking to understand the use of technology around me. My innovative nature allows me to create unique solutions to complex problems. Moreover, my problem-solving abilities were demonstrated when I collaborated with a team of builders and designers to create one cohesive robot.
My team qualified for the state championship for the 2022 - 2023 VEX Robotics Competition season, and I created a successful rocket design for my Principles of Engineering class. I also volunteered at the VEX Robotics Competition, Battle of the Bay, hosted at Dublin High School. Throughout these experiences, I have learned essential skills such as teamwork with diverse teams of people with varying skill sets. I have also honed my problem-solving abilities and learned to analyze and solve complex problems effectively. Lastly, I have learned how to collaborate effectively with team members and manage tasks efficiently. My strengths, skillset, and interests have brought me down this path in pursuing engineering and programming. I am grateful for the opportunities I have and the skills I have acquired, and I look forward to exploring further fields of technology, as a future engineer.

My Career Exploration
I also learned a lot about what it is like to work in an organized team with members of various specializations and skill sets. My High School's club brought me out of my shell and let me reach out and explore a variety of fields, from programming to manufacturing and design. Being the lead programmer of the VEX robotics 5327B team, I had several responsibilities ranging from leading the design, algorithms, implementation, and testing of the robot, and gave the presentation of the key design decisions to judges and other members. This experience taught me about the necessity of documentation, and the need to communicate my ideas effectively and be able to explain my decisions to others. This is a very useful skill in a professional environment, as proposing new ideas and pitching new designs to project managers are two skills that you need if you want to succeed in a corporate environment.
Through all of these experiences, I have learned a lot about different fields of engineering and what a day in the life of each would look like. I have participated in several experiences that have exposed me to new fields, and I have gotten a feel for what each field would entail, and what skills I would need to be successful in them. From these experiences, I have learned there has always been one field that intrigued me the most, the field of Computer Science, through my involvements in my High School’s VEX robotics club, and classes like Computer Science Principles, and Principles of Engineering I have chosen to pursue a career in Computer Science.During my time in high school, I gained work experience in the field of computer science through my VEX Robotics Team. My journey in the world of robotics has taught me how hardware and software come together and it was really fun to see how my programs affected the behavior of the robot. Building a robot allowed me to use my knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to create innovative solutions to real-world problems.
